Six launches?

CNN reports that Stephen Hadley at the White House officially confirms six launches. At least one was a Taepo Dong 2; there is some confusion over the identity of a second launch. The remaining four are identified as Scud variants.

The report said that the TD2 failed a minute into launch, and their Pentagon reporter said (I'm pretty sure I've got this right) "The Pentagon got the shoot-down order but " [something about had nothing to do].

Fascinating.
