The appropriate response to not enjoying children's company is to not have any of your own. I do not condemn this woman for her feelings, in fact, I share them myself. I do condemn her for subjecting her son to, at the very least, a lifetime with an indifferent parent. I further condemn her, after learning this, to subjecting a second child to the same fate.
