Reality Check

We've sent probes to the Moon and Mars. We know significant volatile resources exist on Mars and at best trace amounts exist on the Moon. It doesn't matter if future probes find small pockets of valuable volatile resources. We already know Mars is wealthy in these resources while the Moon is poor as would be expected from the prevailing theories about their formation.

Policy decisions should be based on what we know and reasonable moderate extensions of current technology not fantasy and wishful thinking.

Mark
