I know, but, as my son just 'recommended'....Pluto, et al, should be called "Kuipers" (Pluto is a Kuiper, et al). :) Not planets.
Well, the history books should tell the tale. Pluto, et al, planets? I don't think so, however, they should think twice, thrice, and cross all t's before putting it to print in school books. (mho.)
Who knows what New Horizons will find in July of 2015. :) If Pluto is a failed old comet with geisers, so be it.
