well, unthinkable. With all the CG effects available to modern TV/Movie makers, does it make sense to re-imagine what the original themes were? The hokey special effects and lack of razzle-dazzle displays never were the focus of TOS------is was the interaction of the characters and the storys they told. Glitz might be fine in this PC era, but when the 60's episodes were filmed, they were done by professionals who used the tech of the time to weave the plots and storylines. Naw, I;ll stick with the fake rocks moving and bad Star ship mattes and off centered phaser hits, it's OK with me. What's next, LOST in SPACE...a VERY SPECIAL Edition?
