Clearly Bush & Co. had determined to go to war before 9-11, and then took anything at all which might support that in a trusting public's eye. Going to war demands acting on very good intelligence, not that which is questionable, or demonstrably false.
The video with bin Laden with a couple of the 9-11 terrorists is being used to justify the wars. No one has ever denied that OBL was in part responsible.
There did not have to be an active plot to participate in WTC. All that had to happen is for the FBI and NSA to stop trying to prevent something. Which is what they did.
And then it happened. My guess is they didn't know exactly WHAT would happen, but allowed SOMETHING to happen.
So they could carry out their pre-planned agenda.
It's been said that the assassination of RFK was possible because the Secret Service was told to allocate fewer resources to guarding him for budgetary reasons. I don't believe it, personally, and I do believe that if one were going to assassinate him that would have been the way to do it. Passively.
