It has to do with the market, which the President is not controlling. We, the consumers, by supply and demand, have more of an influence over oil prices than the President. There is no great conspiracy going on here. Not everything is a conspiracy.

People start rumors on the internet, and they suddenly become fact, without any substance to them.

You and Art, are good people with good intentions. I have nothing personal against either of you, but this bashing the president based on opinions, rumors and speculations is getting ridicules. You guys have every right to bash the President on real issues, and that is fair enough, but keep it real.

I suppose the Republicans have it coming to them after the way we treated Clinton. But then Republicans say they did it to Clinton because of the way Democrats went after H. Bush. So are we stuck in an eye for an eye cycle? I guess that is politics, but I am not playing the game.

If you guys want to keep trashing the President like a bunch of gossiping old ladies creating or spreading rumors about someone they don’t like, go ahead. I am not going to stop you. Enjoy yourselves. Blame the president for everything wrong in the world. Treat him like an evil genius or call him a stupid SOB, I don’t care. I am staying out of it. I am not getting dragged into the mud slinging political game.
