You are not looking at the current situation. Look at why the oil prices went up last year. Most of it was because of the hurricanes damaging platforms and refineries.

This year that has not happen. Production is going up.

Besides I doubt it is not going to get much below $2.00 a gallon, which is considerably higher than it was before prices started soaring through the roof. Now if gas prices capriciously get down to around a $1.00 a gallon for no good reason, then maybe you have a leg to stand on.

There is no conspiracy here. Look at the facts, not wild speculations.
