Funny you should mention the Brown Mountain Lights. Many years ago, when I lived in Oak Ridge, TN, I attended a meeting of the local UFO club who had gone with an expedition to study the BMLs. They were able to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the BMLs were refracted images of lights on radio towers. They were able to duplicate the flashing frequency and the locations of the lights, which they found marked on aeronautical charts of the area. These guys were not debunkers, or members of some government conspiracy to hide the truth, they were UFO enthusiasts and believers who felt, that in this case at least, they were wasting ther time on this particular manifestation.
