Well, I can do ya' one better. *wink* When I was about 5-7ish, I took the detachable cord from my radio (the type with two holes on the plug side and two pins on the radio side) and it must have been a paperclip or a piece of wire I got somewhere. I shoved the wire into the holes in the plug, completing the circuit, THEN plugged it in (heck no, I wasn't dumb enough to do that when it was plugged in, thank God; smart enough to know electricity was dangerous, but not smart enough to know what happens when you complete the circuit).
We'll just say there was a nice little puff of black smoke from the end of the plug, and acrid smell, the wire or paper clip popped out, and the lights went out. Neat trick. Apparently (God forbid), I tripped a circuit breaker. I was always a bit of a rascal. Oh well... ;o] But ya' can't blame a 5 y/o, right?
Of course, it didn't really do anything for me scientifically either, being 5. *Shrug* Just curiousity about "what if." And "why."
Pretty completely unrelated story. But hey... Gotta' have a sense of humor about such things. If ya' take things TOO seriously... Well, that just can't be healthy. =o]
And there was that one time I tried to make a harp out of a horse shoe and rubber bands. That didn't work so well either. *Shrug*

- The answer is, you can't.
- Ohh, sure you can... You just have to be creative. =o] (I think I get it now, BTW; read on)
- Probably going to regret this.... for Johannes, Gmirkin, SDAI etc etc: Math, Science, Reality and Language
