Actually, I'm all in favor of school uniforms. It is important to get snobbery and fashion bullying out of the educational picture. It really doesn't matter WHAT the uniform is. Jeans, t-shirt and sneakers are fine, as is collar shirt and necktie, or even some kind of Hogwarts scholar's cloak. The only requirement should be that it be identical for everyone.

I also am in favor of non-coed schools. Or at the very least, non-coed classrooms. Learning simply cannot compete with sex when you're 16. Full stop.
