...good intentions. It's a shame that they are misplaced.

Everyone is equal. We have different abilities, different backgrounds, different opportunities (this includes possession of wealth), and different temperaments, but for all legal purposes, one person has equal value with another. Also for purposes of ethics and assessment of personal dignity and independence.

First you state we are equal and then we are all different - and you don't even recognize your self-contradiction!

We are equal under the law only to a certain degree. We don't force people who use wheelchairs to walk like the rest of us and we don't force everyone to use wheelchairs, who can walk.

This is a fundamental problem, borne out by indoctrination through word repetition without meaning, "All men are created equal" immediately if we take this phrase literally it means women are excluded and not equal. Equality under the law means one man is not a slave and one a slaveowner, one man is not a king and the other a vassal - that is what those lines mean those words do not mean that if we put everyone on a scale they will all weigh the same and must be treated the same.

Words without full meaning, repetition without thought.

Forcing equality is just another form of oppression! What's the difference between forcing some group to 'appreciate' another group or treat it in a certain manner and the old king or dictator who did exactly the same thing! Oh but we mean well! The king was selfish and mean! You're too rich, we must take away your wealth, make laws that punish you for being too different from the masses. Your SUV is an abomination to the collective, we are going to make sure you cannot own one, after we are finsihed legislating them out of existence with increased CAFE standards!

The left embraces the equality bit and as they crusade in this foolish quest to equalize everyone it always means inequality in practice. It means forcing others to accomodate their will.

Every liberal is a mini-Hitler in the making. And they are clueless as to why!

That's the left's big screw up. They can't get over the socialist/communist matrix of thought processing where society has to obey and serve every special interest minority, no matter how small.

Cow fetish? We need to properly educate bovine-human relations in our schools!

We need a federal holiday for Hispanics! I propose a "Make a run for the border" day.

I demand teachers not force kids to learn English! If my voter materials arrive in spanish, why can't teachers teach in spanish!

The poor are not given equal access to transportation! I demand cars be provided for them!

My kid's school textbooks show absolutely nothing about the contribution of children to society! I demand they be rewritten!

That's the liberal mindset. That's the ACLU card carrying, Pfeiffer reading ex-hippies who haven't grown up, child-like view of the world and how it should really be!

It's that sort of mindset that demands we accomodate illegal invaders into our country and treat them not only as citizens, but BETTER than citizens with the right to break laws, pay no taxes and get free medical care.

Unfortunately, I have no magic wand that can turn socialist-progressives into folks who can see beyond the handout to everyone and everything mentality and feel they should have the right to enforce this mindset on everyone.

And even if I did, I wouldn't be so foolish to use it and rob you of your own experiences to learn the truth.
