I went through my mind and it took a little bit, but actually I do recall several of Richard's posts some of which were posted around Veterans day several years ago and which were good and several he made during the 'Slick' drama which were poignant, although that whole episode sort of festers as one of those potential bogus internet things folks do to get attention just to jerk folks chain. But to be quite honest, over the years he has posted very few times when compared to others here and I can't recall any threads where we have directly communicated. Apparently his patience is very short since we haven't communicated enough to fill one thread over 8 years. But that's fine with me, after all I have you to offer your endless patience.
Comparing me to Euthyphro is not the a perfect context for such comparison. I persecute not, however some folks like to get gratuitous digs in at me. My view is much more Socratic, with flexible good and evil (or piety impiety if you will) based upon each individual. You can perceive my truth as false and vice-versa bottomline is we will be both right and wrong because their are no gods or absolutes to declare one right and one wrong.
You're old enough now to realize that the 'rights' of yesterday are the 'wrongs' of tomorrow. Posting here is entertainment, like reading. Taking it or the conflicts here seriously would only ruin the enjoyment it offers.
So go ahead and call me names, make me a Yeti-something or other of the hour, it won't change my view point about what's going on in the world and which courses of actions are productive/destructive to western civilization. Only time will do that by itself.
And remember to have fun...but I don't need to tell you this as you and your brother are already having fun with all the nom de plumes and incognito posting.
;-)
