Wow! We agree!
The girl needs to accept her punishment. Then the citizenry needs to repeal or put exemptions into the law and they need to remove the old nasty biddy from office for being just that.
The last part about the nasty old biddy is the slight problem - almost ALL bureaucrats are cut of the same cloth, one would have to fire 4/5ths of all city employees to get rid of them all - and the folks who would want their jobs would be more of the same.
