One of my friends has a daughter who's deaf. She text messages constantly. It would be terrific for her if she could talk into the phone and have it translate, let her proof read it, edit as needed, and then send.

Proofing would be essential, because voice recognition software doesn't always get it right, especially with regional accents or unusual words.
