Good point.
I thought of one myself a while after I wrote the post. I often text-message my daughter because in school and theater she's often in a place where talking on the phone is impractical.
I can type quite fast on a normal keyboard, and find the text interface on a cell phone very frustrating. I might actually be a customer for this myself.
