Tony, Michael J. Fox appeared in episodes of "Boston Legal" as a cancer patient. They were able, by means of multiple takes, medication, avoidance of his difficult periods, and Fox's own strenuous efforts, able to largely mask his symptoms.

The Amendment 2 commercial wasn't live, or part of an impromptu interview.

So, if he looked like that in a one-minute commercial, it's because he, and those who made the commericial, wanted him to look exactly like that to make the impression they were looking for. This is something he has done before, and he has said so. That's a hard fact. You can take the rest anywhere you want.

I suppose it's at least some consolation for some people out there after Air America's crash-and-burn.
