It was all there.

Not all in one place like that, or that organized into one place, but it was there. It showed up places it wasn't likely to be seen, like administration sites, DoD sites, interviews with generals, and other sources I spent time with. Specific tactics were described, explanations of the tactics put forth, failures noted and changes made (too slowly in some cases). For example, there were major overhauls, particularly between the early part of the war and the latter part, when influential Iraqis resisted the original concepts.

An entire war, with campaigns, battles, victories, and losses has been fought where the mainstream media has chosen not to look. What we get on our end is casualty counts, separated from any context whatsoever. That's not my fault.

The Bush administration put it all in a pile like that to answer the idiots who kept asking "where's the plan?"

Point out the "plan" for any other war that was written at the beginning and held any semblance of the same form until the end.

The Democrats, illustrated by my examples, have no clue in the world how to deal with this kind of thing. The Democrats They're better off holding onto the "we don't need no steenking plan" meme.
