Poles
When I lived in Germany I was friends with a family who had immirated from Poland about 10 years prior. The family was very proud of their polish ancestry. They had a 10 yr old kid who like to make jokes about Turkans. After hearing a few, I finally said to him I had heard all those jokes before, only in America it isn't the Turkans who star in the jokes, but the Polish. He was shocked to hear it, and found the jokes far less funny.
