Yes, Absurd
Except that the UN people who were taking the bribes where there to protect the Iraqis. Instead, they turned a blind eye while Saddam used Oil for Food money to build palaces while his people starved. These were the same people who where supposed to make sure Saddam was complying with the UN resolution.
Had they been doing their job, maybe this war could have been avoided.
