You know why your claims about something in Martian science is immaterial to the subject Ed? First, you have 30 year old knowledge when it comes to almost anything Martian. Take your typing Phobos as a C-class asteroid as an example of that.
Second, you have a warped agenda which is driven by god knows what when it comes to Mars. Must I point out you're no physicist and couldn’t for the life of us describe triple point physics to us anybody without googling it. You have an axe to grind and no objectivity what so ever.
Point is you don't know what the physics in play is and you are not qualified to pontificate on the subject.
Nick has pointed out the majority of surface ice is CO2. Which is a good point. But, this out flow is coming from the subsurface and there is reason to believe there is H2O ices below the surface. Possibly the majority of ice below the surface are H2O. Any speculation that these flows are C20 or H2O at this point and are not bogus. That you personally don’t want water to be the cause is bogus not the claim of scientists who have more current understanding of Mars than you.
And cite one example of RL censoring you for political reasons.

- Yup
- If NASA schedules the announcement of bogus claims about water on Mars to coincide with the release of bad news from Iraq, then it belongs right here
