Nick,

Any thoughts on why the deposits are bright vs the usual darker shade of recent dust avalanches? Bit of water ice granules in the mix? Lighter toned source rock (though we don't see it on the crater wall)? It seems that brightness is their key tell-tale of a flow involving water vs plain old dust.
