Reframing once again

My kids won't be getting the games that glamorize shooting prostitutes either Tom and I'd be just as up in arms or even more if the aim of the game was walking around as a Muslim cleric beheading infidels. However, you've once again found a way to reframe the issue which is this particular game.

The only disparaging thing you could say about this particular piece of software was "not much worse than....". I don't mind you going off and complaining about other games and cultures but when are you ever going to find truth in someone's post first before deflecting the issue? Is somehow admitting the game rankles you some sign of weakness?

What you fail to realize is statements like "not much worse" indicate tacit approval of the item. That is really puzzling. Are you that insecure about your religious beliefs that you can't find fault with the wackos within its ranks? By your logic, Musollini was a good guy cause he wasn't as bad as Hitler. Italians didn't have a leg to stand on to criticize their leadership because there were people in the world more evil than he was.

You might want to do a check about articles written in the media highly critical of the excessive violence in video games today and the possible effects on the minds and actions of the young people playing them. I've seen a ton Tom and only one article on this particular game. You seem to only pay attention to the media lately when it strikes a particular nerve.
