Lee, there are parts of the South where if you walked in the streets shouting things people there considered blasphemous, you'd be taken out into the swamps and hanged.
Even though the primarily Muslim areas of the world are right now engaged in warfare, poverty, and instability that encourage excess in emotions and fundamentalism, don't even try to pretend that the same conditions here wouldn't elicit exactly the same response from your Christian extremists.
