Der Spiegel (The Mirror) has for fifty years been a stalwart of the German left - to the left of both TIME and NEWSWEEK.

Some folks are waking up in Europe, and others, who live in fear or selfish interests, seek to ignore the disparity of belief systems and there very real influence on people's lives, hide under the cloak of false, forced "equality".

What I find most enlightening is the same folks here who were shocked at the marriage of a 13 year old gypsy girl, are noticably silent about the practices of Islam which make the gypsies appear like the most enlightened people in the world.

So is it the left here is afraid of Islam and have nothing to fear from gypsies? Or is it that they are the worst sort of hypocrites who target some "immoral" acts by one group yet completely whitewash/ignore the suffering of billions of children women worldwide who happen to be born into Islamic families?

SDF below posted a story about an "honor killing" in Jordan. The girl was a virgin, but the pathological pressures of Islam demand that the father's honor is diminshed if his daughter is having sex out of wedlock and since she had ran away he believed the worst. His solution? Shoot the daughter four times in the head.

That's Islam in the 21st century. The author of "Hooray We're Capitulating" has expressed the changes and disparities excellently. We are living on a small world with a group whose beliefs are stuck in the 12th century and pose a danger to all civilized peoples everywhere. Islam has shown it does not live and let live - and in fact will kill over a cartoon.

The western leftists of the world are almost as bad, even though they don't kill and would never contemplate such killing, but they kill others indirectly because they grant carte blanche to the killers under their politically correct belief system. Much as many Germans thought it was healthier not to speak out against Nazis or call Hitler a psychopath, the same cowardice exists in those who refuse to acknowledge the evils, and victims, of Islam - and its millions of very real, very dangerous, psychopaths.

Like defending Hitler, because to criticize him or his beliefs would be "prejudiced" the same PC folks today live in little bubbles of fear and justify their actions under the noblest of western idealisms - universal equality. Unfortunately Islam holds no such western belief and will kill their own or others without any reason at all.

Letting The West die a martyr's death has not been the goal of the billions who have lived and died to create and preserve Western Civilization.
