Look for yourself. Show me where, three months ago, a major change in the curves took place on approval of the war in Iraq.
The media has been pushing failure in Iraq since the war started, during victories and setbacks. The poll results would hardly be surprising, no matter what the actual progress of the war. You should have heard the ABC news hourly broadcast just now.
The Democrats are claiming the election was about Iraq. That doesn't hold up either. Corruption, the economy, and terrorism were all listed as more important in 2006 exit polls than Iraq. Corruption is, of course, no longer an issue now that the Democrats are digging in for their share of the loot.
