..every time the debate pins you into a corner you bolt. Since you arrived you almost immediately mentioned your disdain of political posts - only when it suited you of, course. You made yourself scarce or end a thread with "I will not respond anymore on this topic" and then you do respond, or do respond somewhere else calling other posters names or complain it takes too much time to reply to "the smart ones" and leave the poster who has posted a valid point hanging there unanswered. Ask Tom, how it feels, as you seem to do that to him a lot and have done it to me as well.

I've been here for years and I know at a certain point my posts will hang unanswered when I get into technical nitty-gritty. It's a waste of my time to go through everything again for every new poster that comes along hoping, in vain, that they will appreciate a half hour effort to gather and present information or have the ability to process it.

I've debated global warming numerous times, shown how at this moment we cant even get an honest ballpark figure for solar variance, because of a lack of REAL data and measurements and so any pointing the finger at man for global warming at this point is beyond asinine - it's like blaming a warm tub being filled with hot water on the rubber ducky floating in it. And always I've been met with silence or derision - because it's better to grab the ducky out of the baby's hands than take a chance. After awhile, one realizes some folks get off on fear and hysterics, hate babies and love snatching duckies and they revel in the whole melancholic miasma.

All these posts would be accessible with the long, long, long awaited search function and if someday this function ever really does appear, you will have access to thousands of my previous posts and you might then, after weeks of reading, have an entirely different view of why I post the way I do now. I've made the post on ice cores and the bogus science they incorporate and promote. I've done the same for tree rings as well, solar variance et al.

So where you see someone "causing a knife fight", anyone whose been here a long time sees someone long tired of spending too much time rehashing the same ol' things for an unappreciative audience who are not either interested in the nitty gritty science or have long since assumed the walk-on role of SDAI-contrarians or SDAI-avoiders. After enough time here the same thing will happen to you or you may be one of the rarer ones who continues to exchange words without either hate, fear, animosity or snide comments. Time will tell. For now, you apparently see everything I post through your own murky filter and have assigned nefarious motives to it all.

So be my guest "accuse" all you want. "Manmade" global warming is bogus science from the get go and anyone aware of our best scientific solar measurement capabilities knows and understands why. Period. I'll review the data again when we actually have enough data to make an honest integral of solar variance in climate data. We've got one or two good satellites up, but even they are woefully inadequate to present anthing more than a WAG picture of solar variance. Perhaps in five or ten years we will have enough data - but, to be honest, I doubt it. We're looking more realistically at a twenty to thirty year time frame - and a lot more satellites and a lot more measurement stations on Earth. Naturally, the doom-mongers and crepe hangers will say by then it will be too late and return to clawing at the baby's ducky.

I am guilty of very justified post laziness. But if others here engage in knife fights it's because they enjoy knife fights - not because "evil ol' SDAI" and his masterplan of causing dissension is working so well.
