The time since 1992 includes Desert Fox, bombing of Iraqi targets in the No-Fly zones from 1999 until the war started, sanctions that the U.N. declared were killing thousands of Iraqis a month, the Intifada and everything that happened in and near Israel, the Syrian occupation of Lebanon, and the rise of the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
