no matter which reincarnation you happen to be in. I have a feeling you'll find a way to take it with you.
As for my being a materialist, you certainly have me figured wrong. Au contraire, I consider myself highly spiritual. Cartesian Dualism has gotten a bad rap lately, but there is an external universe and we are a subset of it, a separate entity, an internal universe, but made of the same stuff and playing by the same rules. Consciouness is a separate universe unto itself, a reality as complex and widespread as the physical matrix which it is inextricably embedded in. This is the reality which concerns me, the fact I realize it is evanescent and inconsequential to the rest of the cosmos does not make me feel it is any less relevant. That is a duality I have accomodated myself to perfectly, without the need for vortical connections or sympathetic frequencies to justify my existence, or guarantee my immortality.
