"Whatever the truth to this soldier's allegations...."

His conscience was bothering him. He didn't want to go back and be a part of it anymore. If he had protested, he would have been in the brig and away from his wife and children. I can see why he fled. Unless Canada decides to keep him and make a legal case out of it, he'll end up in the brig anyway. This war has been soul destroying for hundreds of thousands, mostly the INNOCENT Iraqis. And that goes for the whole country. Sadam may have been bad, but he had his country under control, and we had outside control of his country. Now we're taking over inside his country and paying for what it took him YEARS to do.The price is just too high.

Grab the March 5 edition of Newsweek with the female army amputee on the cover and read the expose of "Failing Our Wounded", for both American and Iraqi soldiers under our care. It's a disgrace.
