"A war is the worst kind of human activity; it is provoked by propaganda or rather lies (WMD, Saddam-Am Qaeda connections) and while it goes on, censorship thrives (embedded journalists only reporting from one side). But facts have luckily a way to resurface. And starting an unnecessary war of choice can also lead to failure."
Well, this is simply nonsense. Obviously propaganda is a modern device [unless you want to include in definition of "propaganda" people talking] and assuming speech around a campfire is not counted as propaganda, war is not some development that occurred only after propaganda. As far as the Iraq war, obviously Saddam provoked this war.
Any national leader that makes it known that it is at war, is provoking a war. The leader is not head poet, but instead is the leader of a country. We may choose to ignore some tyrant who is making grand claims about being at war, and look how great the shithead is by threating nations that could stomp him out. But this doesn't mean the shithead is not provoking a war. That we ignore it does not mean it "disappears". Iran is and has been trying to provoke a war, we have and are choosing to ignore it. Iran has taken English soldiers and is commiting war crime by violating the Geneva convention. We are also mostly so far ignoring this.
Now, as far as Iraq goes, it invaded Kuwait- a country which is a member of UN. This was more than a shithead bragging. Anyone who denies that this wasn't a act of war is simply too delusional to enter into any dissussion.
As for "And starting an unnecessary war of choice can also lead to failure." Well yeah, Saddam is dead. He wasn't shot, but hung as is done to common criminals.
