...used Congress's absence to make a recess appointment of Sam Fox as ambassador to Belgium, the same Sam Fox who helped fund the Swift Boat smear campaign against John Kerry and is a significant Bush campaign contributer, and whose abortive appearance before Congress last week made it clear that the Senate would never, ever, appoint such an unqualified political hack as an ambassador...

...then hopped a plane for Crawford Texas to go on his own spring break.
