I once told it to the Director of Data Processing at Gulf Research Labs in Pittsburgh, whose hobby was collecting and restoring antique clocks. He had about a dozen beautiful pieces decorating his office. Of course, I dragged it out to unimaginable lengths.
The look on his face when I told him the punchline was priceless. It was my finest hour.
