May be a large niche for them someday.
I checked models of them. Very expensive.
I can understand your fascination. Incredible machines. I had been under the impression that the "Hindenburg" burned on the maiden voyage of a zeppelin, don't know where I got the idea.
May come back into use in the not-too-distant future as freight haulers if right-of-way and track maintenance become big enough problems. Would seem me a lifting body could combine fuel efficiency with the load hauling and versatility of trucks and speed and direct routes. Could haul containers underneath them, lower them to a parking lot, and move on.
