re: Perfect Propaganda

Hollywood has nothing on Ahmadinejad.

He has managed to show the world and his people how cooperate, compassionate, beautiful and strong he is.
What better way to start the needed home support (after the UN alliance imposed) by rounding up some British sailors who he knows won’t resist, getting them to confess, show videos of them happily playing ping pong, sipping tea, opening presents and saying thanks for everything in person before leaving for home, all the while breaking some of the most severe international laws established.

But this show of willingness and gratitude aired across selective networks is just in time to announce the thousands increase of centrifuges with the ability to make nuclear weapons in no time and telling his people they have the right despite what the UN council thinks and to top it off with a threat from international interference. I’m amazed, the threat has to be the best part of this sham.

The bonus to this charade and show of power is the renewed enlighten for Sadr and his military army, calling for Shiites to demand the US leave with demonstrations in the streets. Sadr now has the blessing and firm backing of Iran knowing that the free world will do nothing but talk and even refram from talking not nicely.
I can imagine Sadr dreaming of being the dictator of a Iraq much like Syrian ties with Iran and Hummas support. If the Iran strategy works they will control a huge chunk of land across the Middle East.

Propaganda is the terrorist best weapon and Ahmadinejad use it to his advantage well this time.
Combine it with Nancy Pelosi’s trip to the Middle East and the constant demand by the democrats for a troop withdrawal/timetable Sadr now has an advantage in Iraq.
