installing OEM applications

I'm not sure about an OS but I have a OEM Office 2003 program that I have successfully installed on machines that have never had a version of the program previously installed.

It allows you to install using the original key code and you must leave the installation files in place and go to windows update and run all service packs to the program. After doing this it runs perfectly.

Doesn't work if there has ever been a trial version installed, doesn't work if you try to run the progarm before you update and doesn't work if you choose the option of deleting installation files after installing.

Like I said, it might not work withan OS, OEM disk but worth a try maybe
