Twenty years, or so, ago, Toll Bros, and other large home production companies began designing cardboard castles from the dishwasher outwards.
Dishwashers are an odd measurement...19" comes into play...the only place where everything isn't 16, 24, 48, 96.
Today's kitchen counters, etc, are all based on how to fit a square peg into a round hole...as is the rest of the house...if you are willing to let yourself see what I mean, instead of going DUH!
TB...don't try to tell them otherwise, just to pooh-pooh this...what do you know about home design?...you are the man when it comes to drawing spaceships...stick to what you know.
