Adios Muchachos...
It's been unseasonably cool in Florida. At least on the East Coast, where dry air and the NEly trades have given us a long spring. But it's starting to get warm now, and I'm going to Tampa this week to do a little sailing and do research on a boat for an article. I have a feeling its going to be sweltering over there. I just hope there's a breeze! I'll bring you a full report when I get back.
We are in the middle of a long and severe drought, though, we've had lots of fires in the Everglades and Lake Okeechobee is drying up, we are all on water conservation regulations here, can't wash our cars or water our lawns (unless, of course, you own a golf course).
Ah yes, South Florida...we live in a swamp and we're running out of water.
