Hike

It's possible to hike right from our place to the top (Mt. Cheam is just under 7000 ft) - a friend did it when he was a kid and up and down took from pre-dawn to post-dusk in the longer days of summer. Most people just drive up the back, though, and hike the last 5% or so that doesn't have a road - I think it's about two hours to the peak.
