Unfortunately we are actually TOO close to Cheam to see it well, we just see the shoulder of the peak, but we do have lots of windows looking towards the ridge. Paragliders launch from a bare spot part way up and we can see a dozen or more soaring around at a time when the winds are right.
The house is Victorian, logs were not in the books, unfortunately.
The Canadian Rockies are spectacular, but Cheam is actually on the very northern end of the Cascade Range.
