America once enjoyed almost unlimited resources. Heck, it wasn’t that long ago there was still free land.
But now, we have spread from coast to coast and tapped into much of our resources. In 1860, our population was around 40,000,000. Now we are nearing 300,000,000. There are more of us competing for less resources. That has to slowed our growth.
