The point being the consequences. No matter what the pain of near term conversion from fossil fuels, it is worth the price EVEN IF GLOBAL WARMING WERE NOT A CIVILIZATION THREATENING PROBLEM. We will be free of Middle Eastern control over ours and our allies economies. Sometimes you have to pay a dime to get a quarter. To put it another way, it's time to get out of our comfort zone and shake up the way the energy business is done on this planet!
