Does not mean he hasn't gone off the deep end in the SETI field.

It happens with smart people. They become experts in one field and
then they go off on tangents in others they don't know as much about
and go way off base.

And regarding another post you made about his detecting "music" not
meaning real music as we think of it - no, he means music as we think
of it, not the allegories you were coming up with.

Why don't you have him come here and explain himself?
