You got anything at all to back that ridiculous statement up besides a quote about a single example from frigging "Alternet?" And since when did Conventional Wisdom have conservatives better at working the Net than liberals?
The actual Wired source is here, and shows a growing list of examples. I believe the political range there is rather wide, including suspect entries from the Democratic Party, the ACLU, the New York Times, and yes, NPR.
