Missing the point.

List of items in article:

1) Someone at the US Democratic Party's Congressional campaign committee changed a description of conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh to replace "comedian" with "bigot" and dub his listeners "legally retarded."

2) A United Nations computer is identified as the source of an edit that calls a respected Italian journalist a promiscuous racist.

3) An edit traced by Wikiscanner to the BBC changes causes of former prime minister Tony Blair's heart palpitations from strong coffee and vigorous gym workouts to vodka and exertion in a bedroom.

4) Wikiscanner also identified a BBC computer as being used to change US president George W. Bush's middle name from "Walker" to "Wanker" at Wikipedia.

5) A computer belonging to Reuters news service is listed as adding "mass murderer" to a Wikipedia description of Bush.

The above could be identified as "leftist edits."

6) A Republican Party computer purportedly was used after the US invasion of Iraq to change "occupying forces" to "liberating forces" in a Baath Party entry.

7) Wikiscanner's roster indicates a Vatican computer was used to remove references to evidence linking Ireland's Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams to a decades-old double murder.

8) Someone using a US Senate computer altered a profile of veteran White House reporter Helen Thomas to complain she "interrupts" and is annoying.

9)Virgil Griffith's "Wikiscanner" points to Central Intelligence Agency computers as the sources of nearly 300 edits to subjects including Iran's president, the Argentine navy, and China's nuclear arsenal.

These could be identified as "conservative edits." And you may notice number 9 - does NOT mean these edits were erroneous edits.

Yet the article headline didn't say:

REUTERS & BBC edit Wikipedia Entries

or

UN & BBC edit Wikipedia Entries.

or even something balanced like:

CIA & REUTERS edit wikipedia entries.

No the tilt was just another leftist distorted bias designed to fuel the fear of religion and the CIA, and by putting them together in the same headline it implies they are somehow connected.

It's designed to work on folks with little neuron activity and it probably does work. How many will read the headline and believe it supports their leftist paranoid world view?

And even of those who read the article entirely, how many will gloss over the facts that most of the CIA edits were of factual inconsistencies and completely ignore the examples of proven leftist bias & hate of the media as illustrated by the edits performed by BBC & Reuters?

The point is that the media is constantly distorting ALL news, trying to feed and sustain a class of folks who are mindless, leftist puppets.
