...that everything is a mess over ion Iraq is just that - perception.

By now you should know that every negative has a positive and for every terrorist bombing there is a new school somewhere and a child with a brighter future than ever possible in Saddam's Iraq.

For every unhappy Iraqi Sunni, recalling the old days under Saddam there are 7 Iraqi Shiites and 2 Kurds who are happy about the changes brought about.

There are also millions of Iraqis in neighboring countries who are effectively free to travel and live outside Iraq.

The negative gets all the attention and the positive is ignored or intentionally distorted to CREATE the perception you and others hold about Iraq.

And what's more the folks at AFP who are working feverishly to oust the US from Iraq, will never reveal the horrible conditions in other nations that make Iraq seem like a paradise. Like a magician they know how to manipulate your focus and make you believe what they want you to believe.
