Wow, you guys hit on one of my favorite groups. I've probably seen them in concert 7 or 8 times in my life.
First, Lodge did very little of the poetry. Most was written and recited by their drummer Graham Edge.
Secondly, for any fans of the Moodies out there, you probably know that the vast majority of their hits were written and sung by Justin Hayward who is clearly to me the major talent of the group. He produced a number of solo albums as well throughout his career which are great but one shines out above all the rest - a CD he recorded in Italy called "View From the Hill". It has a song on it called "Broken Dream" which just blows me away.
He and Lodge also did an album called "The Bluejays" which also has some dynamite songs on it.
