Great post, with some hidden interesting news.

If "they" are surveying so many stars at a time, and if "they" are able to detect such minute variations (as low as 1%) it is only a matter of time before ETI is found.

There may well not be anything to this one, it would be odd if there were on an early sampling, but I believe ETI is a sure thing and this demonstrates it will be found.
