>"I doubt you would have the same opinion if the dissentors were right wing nuts protesting the policies of an incumbent Dem administration."
I am talking about the right to protest WAR, as in the Vietnam era AND the Iraq era. WAR, not polices. I'm not even THINKING about political problems, I am talking real DISSENT. (see quote above).
>"Rodney King thing showed us that misuse of authority can be dealt with."
Local police clubbing one individual and caught on video tape can be prosecuted. Blackwater running Silent Guardian courtesy of the administration frying people's brains or leaving some with permanent nerve damage while unable to move from the stampede, is unapplicable under current law. And seeing as how wiretapping without due process is illegal, and now it's done carte blanche by this administration...WAKE UP Frankie baby and smell the flesh burning!
>"Non-lethals would have saved lives at Kent State. How can any reasonable person object? "
Obviously some died LEGALLY voicing their RIGHT to congregate and dissent, and unfortuantely the cops opened fire from direct orders from their capitan....so you ask.....HOW CAN ANY REASONABLE PERSON OBJECT???
Because if Silent Guardian was parked there today, most students would just stay home and not demonstrate. INTIMIDATION.
People like you scare me. Go back to your gin.
