Dissent should be a serious business and anyone intimidated by non-lethals should stay home. MLK was not intimidated because he used peaceful methods and any disproportionate response was a victory for his cause.
Clowns, like the guy that the thread is about, deserve to be silenced but not physically abused. His methods are inappropriate imo, yet he came away somewhat vindicated because the response probably was a bit disproportionate. A mouth full of styrofoam would have been better.
